Exploration Film Festival Davos brings films, field voices and curious minds together in the Swiss Alps — widening attention toward the living world, human endeavour and the questions that shape what comes next.

Why this exists

Exploration is a way of paying attention.

The world changes according to what we choose to see.

Exploration Film Festival Davos brings stories from beyond the familiar into one room: fragile ecosystems, remote landscapes, demanding journeys, new knowledge and the people who return with a fuller view of the world.

A festival for the field sciences and the conversations that grow around them — a spotlight on scientific exploration in service of the planet.

Stories from the edge of the known.

From field to screen

More than a screening.

The festival brings films into conversation with the people behind them. It is a space for filmmakers, explorers, scientists, researchers and audiences to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions and leave with a wider sense of possibility.
